I'm Still Here | Update

Hello! Firstly, yes I haven't posted in months and I do apologise, however I had an insanely busy summer and moving to university was a huge shock to the system.
Just to fill you in a little bit, I'm unfortunately not in studying in North East England at the University of Lincoln. One of my A Levels didn't go quite to plan and so I slipped a grade. I did however get into my insurance choice of university, down here in Chichester, West Sussex. (for those of you who don't know where that is, it's on the south coast in between Portsmouth and Brighton).
Results Day came and I won't lie it was one of the worst days of my teenage years, I thought my world had come tumbling down, I was in tears and on hold with UCAS all day. This all amounted to nothing and it was set I was off to the University of Chichester, I thought I'd get here, hate it and have dropped out before my birthday in October.
I was wrong
I've fallen in love with this city, the people here, my course and the university itself. I look back on August and think how stupid I was. My mum has being saying to me the whole time everything happens for a reason and I'm so thankful she convinced me to at least go and try out university.
Moving out was extremely hard, I'm so comfortable at home with my parents and having to do everything for myself seemed quite daunting. But I'm so much more independent because of this, and I now realise how much my mum actually did for me (thanks mum!). If you're thinking of applying for university, I would strongly recommend moving into Halls, they're one of the best things about your fresher year! An even bigger recommendation for Havenstoke House if thinking about the University of Chichester.
The course down here is exactly what I wanted, Events Management and IT Management for Buisness is so rewarding and an excellent insight into my hoped future career pathway.

I'll try not to leave it so long before I'm back to my old blogging schedule.
